Contact Fuel

Anti-Spam Policy

Last Updated: September 12, 2025

At Contact Fuel, responsible messaging is foundational to our service. As an Email Service Provider, we enable our customers to distribute marketing communications using first-party, second-party, and third-party opt-in contact data. We are committed to permission-based engagement.

Permissible Use of Our Services

Customers must ensure that all messages, whether emails, SMS, or similar communications, are directed solely to recipients who have deliberately and explicitly provided prior opt-in consent. This includes all audiences reached by means of first, second, or third-party data sources. The distribution of unsolicited communications—including spam, bulk, or harvested email lists—is strictly prohibited. Neither Contact Fuel nor its customers may purchase, lease, trade, or otherwise acquire contact lists lacking discrete, documented consent specific to the intended marketing use.

Consent and Data Source Requirements

For every marketing contact provided to Contact Fuel’s platforms:

  • Customers must maintain comprehensive records establishing the source and manner of each opt-in, including (where applicable): date and time of consent; signup IP address; originating website; and any disclosures or permissions presented at signup.
  • The use of opt-out, rented, or non-permissively acquired lists is never authorized, regardless of whether those lists relate to first, second, or third-party data. Outreach must always be based on affirmative, informed consent.

Recipient Rights and Complaint Redress

Recipients of commercial email and SMS through Contact Fuel’s systems benefit from robust privacy and control:

  • Each outreach includes a clear, accessible mechanism to unsubscribe (opt out) from future communications. Removal or omission of this mechanism violates Contact Fuel’s policy and may lead to immediate account suspension or termination.
  • Any concerns regarding unsolicited or misdirected messages may be reported to Contact Fuel, with swift investigation and intervention as warranted.

List Management and Compliance Monitoring

Contact Fuel reserves the right to audit customer contact lists and campaign practices to ensure ongoing compliance with all legal, regulatory, and ethical standards. Lists associated with prohibited practices, such as inclusion of addresses on published “do not contact” registries or numbers known to have been reassigned, may be subject to blocking or other remedial action. Nonetheless, customers bear full responsibility for maintaining lawful and appropriate communications, including ongoing list hygiene and honoring recipient withdrawal of consent.

Data Privacy Assurance

Personal information provided to Contact Fuel is never sold, rented, or disclosed to outside parties for unrelated purposes. Information is shared only with authorized service providers as required to deliver the agreed-upon messaging functions, or as compelled by law. Transparency and user control over preferences are paramount throughout all aspects of our service.

This Anti-Spam Policy demonstrates Contact Fuel’s dedication to lawful, ethical, and permission-based email marketing, leveraging various data sources while safeguarding the rights of all recipients.
